What areas do you cover?

As an independent midwife, I provide personalised midwifery care across London, Essex and Hertfordshire, including areas such as Enfield, Barnet, Hertford, Harlow, Epping, Watford, Pinner, Harrow, Walthamstow, Stratford, Wembley, Chelmsford and surrounding communities.
I am based in Waltham Abbey, Essex and will happily travel up to 30 miles from my home address.

What services do you offer?

I provide personalised antenatal care, labour and birth support, home birth support, postnatal care, breastfeeding support, across London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
My services include birth planning, routine antenatal appointments, continuity of care throughout pregnancy, support during labour and birth, newborn assessments, infant feeding support, emotional wellbeing support, birth debriefing and postnatal visits in the weeks following birth.  

Do you support home births?

Yes, I support women who are planning a home birth across London, Essex and Hertfordshire and provide calm, personalised care throughout the process, including support for HBAC (home birth after caesarean and VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) journeys.
Homebirth support includes antenatal birth planning, assessment of suitability for home birth, labour support, monitoring of maternal and fetal wellbeing, guidance and support during labour, immediate postnatal care and feeding support following birth. 

Can you support me if I am planning a hospital birth?

Yes, whether you are planning a home birth or hospital birth, I offer calm supportive care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

Do you support women after birth?

Yes, postnatal care includes support for you and your baby after birth, including feeding support, maternal wellbeing checks, emotional support, birth debriefing and guidance on recovery, as well as practical support as you adjust to life with your new baby.
Postnatal visits are tailored to your families individual needs across London, Essex and Hertfordshire

Can you help with breastfeeding support?

Yes, I can provide breastfeeding support and guidance to help you feel confident feeding your baby.

How long are appointments?

Appointments are typically one to two hours long, allowing plenty of time to talk through any questions or concerns without feeling rushed.
 

Do you offer support for birth trauma or anxiety?

Yes, I offer support for women who have experienced birth trauma, anxiety in pregnancy or previous difficult experiences.

Can I contact you between appointments?

Yes, I understand questions and worries come up between appointments, so I offer ongoing support and communication throughout your care.

How do I pay?

Payment details will be discussed when booking your care package or appointment.


Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. instalment options are definitely available. We can discuss payment options during our discovery call.

Do you offer one-off appointments as well as full packages?

Yes. I offer both one-off appointments and full continuity of care packages depending on what support
you are looking for.

Can I choose only postnatal support?

Yes. If you would like support after birth only, postnatal care can be arranged separately.


What happens if I need extra support during my pregnancy?

If you need extra support, we can discuss what would be most helpful and tailor your care to your needs.

Do you support first-time mums?

Yes. I support first-time mums and understand that pregnancy and birth can feel overwhelming when everything is new.

What if I am feeling anxious during pregnancy?

Feeling anxious during pregnancy is very common. I provide calm, supportive care and will always make time to listen to your concerns and help you feel reassured.

Do you offer continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period?
