Antenatal Care

During pregnancy, I provide unhurried, relationship-based antenatal care that supports both your physical health and emotional wellbeing. Our time together allows space to ask questions, share feelings, and plan for the birth you envision. Appointments include blood pressure monitoring, urine testing, monitoring of your baby's growth and wellbeing, discussions around pregnancy symptoms, birth planning, preparation for labour and birth, infant feeding discussions and emotional support throughout pregnancy. I also take time to listen and really get to know you, my goal is to offer you the information, encouragement, and reassurance you need to feel truly supported throughout your journey.

"Women who have regular one to one antenatal care report feeling significantly more prepared and confident for labour and birth"
(RCM Research)

Home Births

Home birth can be a beautiful and empowering option for many families, and I offer full midwifery support for those choosing to birth at home. I bring everything needed to monitor you and your baby safely, and I stay with you throughout labour, birth, and the early postnatal hours. Being in your own environment can help you feel calm, in control, and deeply supported. I work in partnership with you to honour the natural rhythm of your labour while ensuring you are safe and cared for. If plans change and a transfer becomes necessary, I will support you through that process with continuity and care.

"For low risk pregnancies, home birth is associated with fewer interventions and a higher chance of a straightforward birth"

Hospital Birth Support

If you’re planning to give birth in hospital, I offer continuous labour support as your chosen midwife. While the hospital team will provide clinical care, I’ll be right by your side to support you emotionally and advocate for your wishes. I’ll help you feel informed and confident, offering comfort measures, reassurance, and encouragement throughout. My presence helps create consistency in an environment that can sometimes feel busy or clinical. I’ll also help ensure your voice is heard and your preferences are respected, so you can focus on what matters most, meeting your baby.

"Having continuous support during labour reduces the likelihood of a caesarean birth by 25%"

(Cochrane Review)

Continuity of Care

One of the most special aspects of my service is that I work with you from beginning to end. I am the only midwife you’ll see throughout your care, which means we have the chance to build a meaningful, trusting relationship. Continuity of care not only creates a safer and more comfortable experience, but it allows me to support you in a truly personal way, whether you're planning a home birth, hoping for a calm hospital birth, or exploring all your options. I know your story, your preferences, and what matters to you, and I carry that knowledge with me through every stage of your journey.

"Women who receive continuity of care from a known midwife are 24% less likely to experience preterm birth and report feeling more supported throughout their pregnancy journey"

(Cochrane Review)

Infant Feeding Support

Breastfeeding can be deeply rewarding, but also challenging at times. I offer gentle, hands-on support to help you and your baby find your rhythm, whether you’re establishing feeding in the early days or facing new challenges weeks later. I support all feeding choices and approaches with warmth and without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what works best for you, offering practical guidance on latch and positioning, milk supply, and expressing if needed. You don’t have to do it alone, I’ll be here to walk alongside you with care and encouragement.

"Mothers who receive hands on breastfeeding support are significantly more likely to continue breastfeeding beyond the first few weeks"
