Home Birth with Guided By You Midwifery

Welcoming your baby at home can be one of the most calm, empowering experiences of your life, and with the right support, it can be safe, personal, and deeply positive.

I offer full one-to-one midwifery care for families choosing to birth at home, including those planning a Home Birth After Caesarean (HBAC) or birthing outside of standard guidelines. Whatever your situation, you deserve care that respects your choices and keeps you and your baby safe.

Unlike NHS care where you may meet a different midwife at every appointment, with me you get true continuity of care, the same midwife getting to know you, your wishes, and your birth plan from the very beginning.

What my home birth support includes:

• Full one-to-one midwifery care throughout labour and birth

• Continuity of care - the same familiar face with you from pregnancy through to birth and beyond

• All equipment needed to monitor you and your baby safely

• Support for Home Birth After Caesarean (HBAC)

• Care for those birthing outside of standard guidelines

• Birth planning and preparation in the weeks before birth

• Continuous support throughout labour, I stay with you

• Early postnatal care in the hours following birth

• Support through transfer to hospital if needed, with continuity and care throughout

I work in partnership with you to honour the natural rhythm of your labour, while making sure you and your baby are safe and well cared for at every stage. Being in your own environment can help you feel calm, in control, and truly supported, and that's exactly what I'm there to help you achieve.

If plans change and a transfer to hospital becomes necessary, I will be with you every step of the way, ensuring you never feel alone or without support.
